2023 Kia EV6 New prices, variants, range
Kia India has re-opened the bookings for its flagship EV offering in India – the EV6. The electric car was originally launched in India in June of last year as a CBU, and the company says it has sold 432 units of the vehicle so far. The 2023 EV6 will be available in the same two variants as before, i.e. GT Line and GT Line AWD (all-wheel drive), priced at Rs 60.95 lakh and Rs 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
This means the Kia EV6 is now Rs 1 lakh more expensive than before. The electric car can either be booked at the company’s select dealerships or online. What’s more, Kia is offering exclusive
ownership privileges to the first 200 buyers which include a 95% buyback policy within 30 days, free
periodic maintenance for five years, and eight years/ 1,60,000 km warranty on the battery.
No changes have been made to the 2023 Kia EV6 compared to the 2022 MY version. The EV6 is based on the Hyundai Group’s E-GMP dedicated EV platform, which also underpins the Hyundai IONIQ 5. Both RWD and AWD versions of the car are equipped with the same 77.4 kWh battery pack which offers a range of up to 708 km per the ARAI test cycle.
The RWD version gets a single electric motor mounted at the back, putting out 229 PS power and 350 Nm torque, while the AWD version gets an electric motor on both axles with a power output of 325 PS and a peak torque rating of 625 Nm. The all-wheel drive version of the Kia EV6 can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.2 seconds.
