The most recent 5G smartphone from the Lenovo-owned company, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G, was released in India on September 21. The new Edge-series phone utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC and has a hole-punch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. A 50-megapixel primary sensor is the focal point of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo’s dual rear cameras, which are powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W wired fast charging. The device was initially launched last week in a few international regions. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is anticipated to compete with devices like the Realme 10 Pro+, iQoo Neo 6, and Samsung Galaxy M53 5G among others in the sub-Rs. 25,000 price range.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo price in India, availability

The base model of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs Rs 23,999 in India. The most expensive model costs Rs. 25,999 and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Starting on September 28 at 7:00 p.m. IST, the phone will be available for purchase through the company’s India website, Flipkart, as well as a few retail locations. It comes in the colors Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea.


Motorola is giving a special holiday discount of Rs. 3,000 on the device. The duration of this launch promotion is unknown, though. A Rs. 1,000 discount is available for purchases made with specific bank credit cards and EMI transactions as part of the Moto Edge 40 Neo’s launch promotions. Additionally, interest-free EMI choices begin at Rs. 3,500 per month.

The Android 13-powered Motorola Edge 40 Neo with twin SIM cards has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400-pixel) poLED curved display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. For the newest phone, Motorola promises two years of OS updates. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC with an octa-core 6nm processor, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of internal UFS2.2 storage.
