A Redmi gadget launch event was staged last week in China by the Xiaomi sub-brand. The business recently conducted a global event where it unveiled products for different markets. The Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphones have been revealed by Xiaomi. These are the respective successors to the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro from last year. Additionally, they are now part of the Xiaomi 13 collection, which already includes the ordinary and pro models.

In terms of design, the Xiaomi 13T and Redmi K60 Ultra are exact replicas. It sports a square camera module on the back panel and a slightly boxy frame. The device’s 6.67-inch AMOLED display boasts a 1.5K pixel resolution, a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits. Additionally, it supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10+. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display.

The Xiaomi 13T has three back cameras with Leica-branded sensors for photography. A 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS and a 24mm focal length is part of the configuration, along with a 50MP telephoto lens with a 2x zoom and a 50mm equivalent focal length and a 12MP ultra-wide lens with a 15mm focal length. The smartphone has a 20MP selfie camera up front. The gadget has a number of capabilities, including additional specific color enhancements from the venerable camera manufacturer. Additionally, a Pro Mode is available for changing numerous settings.

The 13T’s internal hardware includes a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra CPU. It has 256GB of storage and up to 8GB of RAM. A 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 67W fast charging powers the gadget. The smartphone has a 5000mm2 VC stainless steel soaking plate for its thermal heat dissipation system. The Xiaomi 13T comes pre-installed with Android 13 as its operating system. Four significant OS updates and five years’ worth of security patches are confirmed. The Xiaomi 13T Pro has a USB-C port, WiFi-6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC as connectivity options.

The 8GB + 256GB version of the 13T costs EUR 649 as a starting price. A 12GB + 256GB variant is also available, although its cost has not been disclosed. The color options for the smartphone are Alpine Blue, Meadow Green, and Black.
