Xiaomi 14

Today, Xiaomi introduced a number of products during an event in China, including smartphones, smartwatches, smart TVs, and more. The company unveiled the ordinary and pro models of its next-generation Xiaomi 14 series. The newest flagship models are the follow-up to the Xiaomi 13 models from the previous year. They offer significant improvements over their predecessors. Learn everything there is to know about the Xiaomi 14 by reading the text below.

Xiaomi 14 specifications and features

The Xiaomi 14 is a flagship phone that is small and has excellent specs. Its square camera module protrudes from the back of its boxy appearance. The gadget has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. It has a metal central structure as well.

Regarding the display, Xiaomi and TCL worked together to create the Huaxing C8 AMOLED screen found in the 14. It has a 6.36-inch screen with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, and 1.5K resolution. The screen supports Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR 10+ and has an embedded fingerprint scanner. Gorilla Glass Victus serves as a shield for the display.

The Xiaomi 14 has Leica-branded cameras in its photo area. Comparing the smartphone’s Vario Summilux aspherical lens to the Summicron on the Xiaomi 13 from the previous year, it is claimed to provide better photography. A 50MP OIS-enabled telephoto unit, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Hunter 900 primary sensor make up the combination. The focal lengths of such sensors are 23 mm, 14 mm, and 75 mm, in that order. Additionally, the aperture is adjustable from f/1.6 to f/2.2. The smartphone features a 32MP selfie camera on the front. The Xiaomi 14 boasts a 4-mic array that records videos in 360 degrees and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology.

The smartphone has a gas-liquid separation channel-based heat dissipation system. A 4,610mAh battery unit that supports 90W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging powers the smartphone. The smartphone is the first from the business to use HyperOS, a brand-new operating system based on Android 14, software-wise.

The Xiaomi 14 has numerous connectivity choices, including Bluetooth, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, Wi-Fi, and 5G. An X-Axis linear motor and an IR Blaster are included with the smartphone.
