Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G

After the launch of the unbelievably lower-priced book-style foldable Tecno Phantom V Fold, the smartphone maker is all set to foray into the clamshell segment of foldable phones. Finally, after a series of leaks and rumors, the company has announced that the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G will launch on September 22.

The event will go live in Singapore at 03:00 PM SGT (12:30 PM IST). With the announcement, the company could face the heat from competitors such as Samsung, OPPO and more. Recently, South Korean giant Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in India.

According to GSMArena, the V Flip will showcase the company’s “commitment to exploring new form factors and redefining the style and functionality of flip phones for passionate, fashionable, and forward-looking audiences,” Tecno said.

Tecno Phantom V Flip Specifications (Expectations)

According to reports, the phone may have a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED main screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it could run on a MediaTek chip. The device may boast Android 13. It will likely have a 4,000mAh battery with 66W charging support. The V Flip could have a 64MP primary lens and a 32MP front camera.

While the company has not given any official hints about the product, leaked images have revealed a circular outer screen. The ‘Flip in Style’ Tecno Flagship Launch 2023 does not give hints of an India debut of the flip phone.

Besides the Flip, the company will also introduce the Megabook T1 2023 model laptop. These laptops will debut in India. They will offer Intel core processors (up to i7), 16GB RAM, 1TB storage and an aluminium alloy body. It will weigh 1.56kg and have a thickness of 15mm.
