BMW M 1000 XR
BMW Motorrad has placed the most recent future M model on its India website after teasering the M 1000 XR prototype globally. The M 1000 XR is the third M-spec model in line with the M 1000 RR and M 1000 R, and is based on the current S 1000 RR and S 1000 XR. It’s interesting to note that the company has already introduced the M 1000 RR and M 1000 RR Competition in the nation for prices of Rs 49 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (both ex-showroom India).
New BMW M 1000 XR
The M 1000 XR, which was created as a long-distance sports bike, features long-range capability and outstanding sports motorcycle riding qualities for the road and racetrack. It has many carbon fiber parts and is a separate M model. Additionally, M-specific brakes are available, which feature a blue anodized coating to match the M emblem. They are descended from factory racing motorcycles made by BMW Motorrad that compete in the Superbike World Championship. The bike also includes M-spec winglets, which provide stability at high speeds. It thus weights roughly 223kg. According to BMW, the front-wheel-oriented seating posture improves control of the motorcycle, which is noticeable when the Supersport mode is used.
An additional option that makes the M 1000 XR even lighter is the M Competition Package. Not to mention, the motorcycle will have a unique paint job that matches the well-known M livery.
The Heart, a new BMW M 1000 XR
The M 1000 XR’s 999cc, inline, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which uses a shift cam from the S 1000 RR, is its key component. According to BMW, this engine has a power output of over 200PS and a top speed of 280kmph.
Cost of the new BMW M 1000 XR
Although the S 1000 XR is currently on sale for Rs 22.10 lakh (ex-showroom), we anticipate the M 1000 XR will fetch a greater premium. The M model would probably have a sticker price of at least 25 lakh.
