One gasoline engine and one CNG engine are available for the Hyundai Exter. The CNG engine is 1197 cc in size, compared to the Petrol engine’s 1197 cc. Both a manual and automatic transmission are offered.The Exter has a range of mileage from 19.2 kmpl to 27.1 km/kg depending on the version and fuel type. The Exter has a wheelbase of 2450, a length of 3815, a width of 1710, and 5 seats.

Price of Hyundai Exter

The Exter’s starting price (ex-showroom, India) ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.10 lakh.

There are five main Hyundai Exter models available: EX, S, SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect. The mid-spec S and SX trims also come with a CNG kit as an option.

Although it has five seats, the Exter mini SUV is most suitable for four people. Hyundai does not offer the Exter with adjustable headrests for rear passengers, although it does come with 3-point seatbelts for every passenger.


Space in the Boot: The tiny SUV has a 391-liter boot.

Engine and Transmission: A 1.2-liter gasoline engine with naturally aspirated combustion (83PS/114Nm) and either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic manual transmission powers the Hyundai Exter. The Exter also has a 1.2-liter petrol-CNG engine with a 5-speed manual transmission (69PS/95Nm).

functions include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with up to 60 connected car functions, a digital driver’s display, cruise control, wireless charging, and auto air conditioning in the Hyundai mini SUV. A single-pane sunroof, a dash camera with two cameras, and rain-sensing wipers are further features.

Six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a rear parking camera, and ISOFIX child-seat anchorages are all included of the Hyundai Exter’s safety package.

The Tata Punch, Maruti Ignis, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Citroen C3 and the Maruti Fronx are the Hyundai Exter’s competitors.
