Tata Tiago EV

The Tata Tiago EV has crossed the 10,000 delivery mark in India in under four months of its launch in the country. The company claims that this makes the car the fastest EV to achieve this milestone. The Tata Tiago EV is said to have made its way to 491 cities in the country, covering a total of 11.2 million km, and saving a claimed 1.6 million grams of CO2 emissions.

Currently priced from Rs 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom), the Tata Tiago EV is the second most affordable electric car in the Indian market. The compact and affordable EV is available with two different battery pack options, with an MIDC certified range ranging from 257 – 315 km, with DC fast charging capability that is claimed to be able to add 110 km of range in just 30 mins.

The Tata Tiago EV’s equipment list consists of multi-mode regen, two drive modes (City & Sport), automatic climate control, projector headlamps, cruise control, electric ORVMs with auto fold, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, 8-speaker Harman Infotainment System with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ZConnect connected-tech with 45 connected car features including remote AC on/off with temperature setting, remote geo fencing & car location tracking, smart watch connectivity, remote vehicle health diagnostics, real-time charge status, dynamic charger locator, etc.

Tata Motors is also offering a best-in-class warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km on the battery as well as the electric motor, providing a hassle-free long-term ownership experience. As of now, the Tata Tiago EV rivals the likes of Citroen eC3 as well as the recently launched MG Comet EV.
