Vodafone Idea is (Vi) facing major decline in its user base due to the growing competition with rival telecoms Jio and Airtel and lagging behind in the race of 5G. To control the falling customers base, and luring its subscribers back, the telco is revising its prepaid and postpaid plans with added benefits and reduced tariffs. Vi introduced several postpaid plans a few days ago and now the telco has introduced a new prepaid plan with unlimited benefits at a price tag of Rs 2,999.

Vi has added a new prepaid plan with annual validity and added benefits at Rs 2,999. falling under the section of unlimited plans, the Rs 2,999 plan offers 850 GB of bulk data, unlimited calling and added Vi benefits for 365 Days.

Let’s take a closer look at Vi Rs 2,999 plans and its added benefits.

Vodafone Idea Rs 2,999 plan

The new unlimited prepaid plan by Vi comes with an annual validity of 365 days offering 865GB bulk data, unlimited voice calls for local or STD calling and 100 SMS per day. Post 850 GB data quota usage, the telecom will charge will charge 50 paise per MB. After exhaustion of the 100 SMS limit, users will be charged Rs 1 for local Rs 1.5 STD SMS.

The plan costs users Rs230 per 28 days and offers around 2.33GB daily data. The added benefits of Rs 2,999 plan include unlimited data at night from 12am to 6am and access to Vi movies and TV.

Notably, since the plan is offering bulk data, Vi has eliminated Vi Hero benefits which offers benefits including weekend data rollover and free data benefits of up to 2GB of backup data every month. However, if you are looking for Vi plans with unlimited benefits without compromising on the Vi Hero benefits you can opt for Rs 2899 and Rs 3099 unlimited plan. Vi Rs 2899 prepaid plan: The plan offers unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and 1.5 GB daily data with 547.5GB total data for 365 days. The added benefits include binge all night benefits, weekend data rollover, data delights and access to Vi movies & TV.

Vi Rs 3099 prepaid plan: The plan also offers annual validity of 365 days along with unlimited calling,  100 SMS per day and 2GB daily data. Other benefits include binge all night benefits, weekend data rollover, data delights and access to Vi movies & TV.
