The mid-range smartphone will be unveiled by Vivo on October 27 in China. Today, the company unveiled a few posters to show off its style, available colors, display size, and battery life. These affirmations show that the Chinese version of the Y100 will differ from the version that became official in India in February of this year.
Vivo Y100 5G key specifications
Recall that the Vivo Y100 5G in India boasts a 4,500mAh battery, a triple camera arrangement on the back, and a flat AMOLED display with a little notch. It weighs 181 grams and has a thickness of 7.7mm.
The Vivo Y100 5G, in contrast, has a larger 6.78-inch OLED screen that supports Full HD+ quality and appears to be a more competitive smartphone. According to the manufacturer, Schott’s display protective layer gives the screen endurance against scuffs and abrasion.
It has a larger 5,000mAh battery inside and a 7.49mm thin profile. There is a chance that it will also have a black version, even though the official photographs only show it in green and blue. The phone’s additional specifications haven’t been made public, however it appears that it could be the Vivo V2313A model that just received certification from Chinese certification sites like TENAA and 3C. While the 3C listing merely indicates that the phone may enable 44W fast charging, the TENAA only provided photos of the device.
In related developments, the Dimensity 9300 chipset-equipped Vivo X100 and X100 Pro flagship phones could be unveiled in the third week of November. The Vivo S18 series of smartphones, which could make their debut in China in December, is also rumored to be in development by the company.
