  • ASUS has finally revealed the launch date for its upcoming smartphone, the Zenfone 11 Ultra. The announcement comes shortly after several sightings of the ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra online. There was even a rumour last year that ASUS is discontinuing its Zenfone smartphone lineup but the brand quickly clarified saying that it’s not true. Here’s all we know about the upcoming ASUS phone.

  • ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is confirmed to launch on March 14th. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 8:00pm in Taipei, which would be 5:30pm in India. The launch announcement teaser also mentions New York and Berlin suggesting the phone will be available in these markets too.

ASUS has teased the Zenfone 11 Ultra as an “AI-integrated flagship phone”. This hints at AI features that will most likely arrive on the Zenfone 11 Ultra.   • Display:ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung Flexible LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz or 144Hz adaptive refresh rate.
  • Processor: The smartphone will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
  • RAM and storage:It could come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
  • Cameras:ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is expected to house a 50MP IMX890 primary camera with Gimbal OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with 120° FoV, and a 32MP 3x optical zoom with OIS. For selfies, it could house a 32MP RGBW front camera.
  • Battery, charging:The Zenfone 11 Ultra is also expected to house a 5,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.

The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra has recently appeared on Geekbench, which revealed it would come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The listing shows the phone has managed to score 2226 and 6949 in the single-core and multi-core segments. The recent render leak shows the phone could be available in Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Misty Gray, Verdure Green, and Desert Sienna colours.
