Samsung Galaxy A55 5G could be in the works as a new A-series offering in the country. This will succeed the Galaxy A54 which has appeared on various certification platforms. The phone will also launch in India as it bagged the BIS certification. Now, folks at MySmartPrice have spotted the Galaxy A55 5G on the FCC database with the model number SM-A556E/DS.

  • The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G bagged the FCC certification, as spotted by MySmartPrice, with the model number SM-A556E/DS and FCC ID A3LSMA556E.
  • The listing confirms the phone will have dual SIM support.
  • The FCC certification shows the adapter will come with the number EP-TA800.
  • That’s pretty much everything that is revealed from the FCC certification.
  • The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G’s 3C certification shows there will be 25W fast charging support with a 9V/2.77A rating. The phone may not come with a bundled charger in the box. Recent reports suggested the phone would debut around the second quarter of 2024 alongside the Galaxy A35 5G. The phone could come in Awesome Lilac, Awesome Ice Blue, and Awesome Navy colours.

The recent Geekbench listing shows the Galaxy A55 5G would come with the Exynos 1480 SoC with a peak clock speed of 2.75GHz and this be paired with the Xclipse 530 GPU. The chipset could be paired with 8GB RAM and boot Android 14 OS out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G gets spotted on Bluetooth SIG; shows up on GCF certification site alongside Galaxy A55 5G

 

Right after getting spotted on the BIS certification website, the Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G have now appeared on global certification websites, indicating their imminent launch. Starting with the Galaxy A35 5G, the handset has now shown up on the Bluetooth SIG website. To recall, the Galaxy A55 5G was already spotted on the same website earlier this month. Samsung Galaxy A35 Bluetooth SIG and GCF listings

The upcoming Galaxy A35 features the model numbers SM-A356U and SM-A356B on the Bluetooth SIG certification site. The website listing reveals that the device will come with Bluetooth 5.3. In the GCF listing, the Galaxy A35 carries the model numbers SM-A356E and SM-A356E/DS. The handset received the certification on Jan 29th.

Samsung Galaxy A35 expected features

As the Galaxy A35 5G has previously been spotted on the US FCC certification website, we have some idea of what we can expect from the phone. The listing revealed that the phone will feature an octa-core chipset, which could be the Exynos 1380. The handset is expected to ship with a 25W charger, 6GB of RAM, and run Android 14 out of the box. As per the leaked renders, the Galaxy A35 5G will feature a design similar to the Galaxy S23 FE with flat edges and a punch-hole display.
