Kia Sportage Hybrid: However, more standard equipment is included.

Hyundai debuted the 2024 Sportage model year earlier this year; the company is now providing additional information regarding the crossover’s hybrid variant. The 2024 Sportage Hybrid, which will feature “mindful updates” and a higher base price, will be available at the brand’s dealerships very soon.

As standard equipment, these innovations are restricted to seat-mounted, second-row airbags and projector-type LED headlamps. There are no additional modifications observed in comparison to the 2023 model; however, the price increases from $28,815 to $29,615 inclusive of destination and handling fees. This is the price for the LX specification level, which includes standard equipment such as privacy glass, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster.

Kia Sportage Hybrid: Choosing the EX AWD will cost you a minimum of $33,315 but will include a six-speaker audio system and additional safety features. The SX Prestige AWD trim level, which commences at $38,515, features a power liftgate, LED fog lamps, and 18-inch alloys.

Each model year of 2024 will be equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. A pair of electric motors and a compact 1.49 kilowatt-hour battery cell are connected to it. The system is rated to produce 257 pound-feet of torque and 257 horsepower (169 kilowatts) at peak. The combined fuel economy is estimated by the EPA to be between 38 and 43 miles per gallon.

Kia also introduced the 2024 Sportage in non-hybrid form in August of this year. The vehicle maintained its 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque, while receiving only minor enhancements to its equipment. As of last year, the crossover is Kia’s best-selling model, with 125,245 units sold.
