Lava Launches New Smartphone
On Wednesday, domestic smartphone manufacturer Lava unveiled a new, reasonably priced model with a glass back finish, a 5,000mAh battery, and other features.
The ‘Yuva 2’ smartphone will be offered across Lava’s retail network beginning on Wednesday for a price of Rs 6,999, the company announced in a statement.
Glass Green, Glass Lavender, and Glass Blue are the available colors.
According to the business, “Yuva 2 features a Unisoc T606 OctaCore Processor with 3GB RAM and a 64GB ROM that is compliant with UFS 2.2 and expandable by an additional 3GB of virtual RAM.”
Along with Lava’s innovative ‘SINK’ Display concept, the new smartphone has a 90Hz refresh rate.
The aim behind SINK Display is to offer a large screen-to-body ratio and thin bezels.
The handset has a 5 MP front camera with screen flash and a 13 MP dual AI rear camera. Additionally, it has a side fingerprint scanner, anonymous auto call recording, and two noise-cancelling microphones.
Additionally, it has a Type-C 10W charger and a 5,000 mAh battery.
“Yuva 2 currently runs on Android 12 while providing users with a clean and bloatware-free android experience,” the smartphone manufacturer claimed.
Additionally, for a two-year term, the business promised one Android upgrade and quarterly security patches.
Customers will receive “free service at home,” which entails service being offered at the customers’ doorstep, for a better after-sales consumer experience.
The service will be available to customers while their phone is still under warranty.
