OnePlus 11 5G launch

The OnePlus 11 launch event is finally here. It will be announced in China on January 4. While Indians still have to wait for one month, the good thing is most of the details will be out tomorrow and people will just have to wait for the price details. Though, the leaks have already revealed what could be the official price. Here is everything we know about the latest flagship phone from the company.

OnePlus 11 5G: Leaked Specifications

You can expect the OnePlus 11 5G to offer a top-notch processor for smooth performance with high-end display specs and fast charging support. The upcoming 5G phone from OnePlus will likely use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is not surprising because this is a flagship phone and the company has always used the high-end chip for its expensive devices.

It was spotted on a Geekbench listing, which suggested that the OnePlus 11 5G could be launched with up to 16GB RAM option. The company will likely offer the device with lower RAM options too. There are no details on storage models, but OnePlus is expected to use the new UFS 4.0 storage version for faster read or write speed. The OnePlus 10 Pro has UFS 3.1 storage solution. It will ship with Android 11.

The OnePlus 11 is confirmed to offer an alert slider, but there are no details on IP rating or wireless charging support. Another certification listing has hinted that OnePlus will provide support for a 100W fast charger. So far, OnePlus hasn’t stopped bundling a charger in the box, and we hope it continues to do that. Under the hood, we may get to see a 5,000mAh battery unit, as per the leaks.

The new OnePlus 11 5G phone is expected to be eligible for the company’s latest software policy. Since this will be a flagship device, it will likely receive four years of Android upgrades and five years of security updates. You can expect to see a punch-hole display design on the front because this has become standard in the industry.

It is confirmed to feature a triple rear camera setup, as per the teaser shared by OnePlus. The setup could be similar to the previous model with new sensors. The leaks have suggested that the handset could feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 32-megapixel 2x telephoto camera.

OnePlus 11 5G: Expected price in India

The OnePlus 11 5G price in India could be between Rs 55,000 and Rs 65,000 segment, as per the leaks. To recall, the OnePlus 10 Pro was launched in India with a starting price of Rs 66,999. Since OnePlus isn’t launching a Pro model and just a standard one, the price of the 5G phone will likely be lower than last year’s Pro model.
