Following its August introduction, OPPO has now released the A79 5G in India, which is the company’s most recent 5G smartphone in the A series. The phone uses an LCD screen of 6.72′′ and runs on the Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is actually a rebranded Dimensity 700. Together with an extra 8GB of virtual RAM, it has 8GB of RAM.
The phone boasts an IP54-rated dust and water resistance polycarbonate frame, an 8MP front camera, a 2MP portrait camera, a 50MP rear camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge the phone to 51% in 30 minutes.
OPPO has launched A79 5G, the company’s latest 5G smartphone in the A series in India, after the launch back in August. The phone packs a 6.72″ 90Hz LCD screen, is powered by Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is a rebranded Dimensity 700. It has 8GB RAM and additional 8GB of virtual RAM.
OPPO A79 5G has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP portrait camera, 8MP front camera, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, polycarbonate frame that offers a metallic texture, IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance, and packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge up to 51% in 30 minutes.

The OPPO A79 5G comes in Mystery Black and Glowing Green colours and is priced at Rs. 19,999. The phone will be available starting tomorrow, October 28, 2023, at the OPPO Store, Flipkart, Amazon, and other retail outlets.
