Oppo Reno 10 5G 2023

The Oppo Reno series of smartphones is known for its camera prowess and this year the company announced its latest Reno 10 range for 2023 in India. Oppo launched Oppo Reno 10 5G, Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G (first impressions), Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G, and Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro TWS headphones at an event in New Delhi. In this article, we share our first impressions of the Oppo Reno 10 5G.

The smartphone is available in two color variants: Ice Blue and Silver Gray with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and another variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The price has not yet been announced by the brand, as the phone will not go on sale until July 20. The Oppo Reno 10 5G comes with a shiny chrome sidebar that blends in with the back panel and curved edge display.

On the right are the volume buttons and the power button, while at the bottom is the USB Type-C charging port, microphone, speaker grille, SIM card slot. At the top of the smartphone, you’ll find an IR blaster and a second microphone for noise cancellation.
The Oppo Reno 10 5G has a matte back panel that changes colors when viewed from different angles. The camera module sticks out a bit and you can expect it to wobble a bit when placed on a table. The Reno 10 5G has a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 64-megapixel main camera, a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with a Sony IMX709 sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

The camera interface is exactly what you would expect from an Oppo device, and not much has changed here.
The Oppo Reno 10 5G has a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum nominal brightness of 950 nits. The screen is smooth and quite bright when interacting with content, so watching video content should be a good experience.

The display also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Oppo Reno 10 5G has a large battery of 5000 mAh, which is quite impressive considering the thinness of the smartphone. It also supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. Resolution is a premium looking smartphone that packs most of the essential features like a large battery with fast charging, a good display, and plenty of storage. But its price will ultimately decide whether it is popular with buyers or lost.
