Is Realme launching a special Realme 12 Pro+ edition with a Nothing Phone-like transparent back?

Realme 12 Pro series launched in India and included two models: the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. It turns out there could be a special edition of the Realme 12 Pro+ as Realme Europe CEO Francis Wong has shared a hands-on image of a phone with a Nothing Phone (1) and (2)-like see-through back panel. The phone in question shares similarities with the Realme 12 Pro+, thanks to a large circular module.


Realme 12 Pro+ transparent edition launch

  • The live image shared by Realme Europe CEO Francis Wong shows a transparent back panel.
  • In a post on X, Wong says that he has been using this device for the past week and asked fans to suggest where to launch it first.
  • We see the large circular module to accommodate the camera sensors. There’s also a telephoto pericope lens, similar to the Realme 12 Pro+.
  • The circular camera module has a gold-coloured casing, which resembles the newly launched Realme 12 Pro+.
  • Besides the camera module, we also see the battery unit and the internal structural design.
