The newest 5G smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G, was released in India on Friday, September 22. The new Vivo T series smartphone has a curved AMOLED display and is available in two colors. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC and 8GB of RAM power the Vivo T2 Pro 5G. The handset can utilise spare storage space as additional memory thanks to the expanded RAM capability, which will boost performance. A 64-megapixel dual rear camera is featured on the Vivo T2 Pro 5G, which is powered by a 4,600mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. The device appears to be a rebadged version of the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G, which had a price tag of Rs. 21,999 when it was revealed in India last month.

Vivo T2 Pro 5G price in India, availability

The base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G costs Rs. 23,999. The most expensive model, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, costs Rs. 24,999. The recently released phone is available in the colors Dune Gold and New Moon Black. Starting on September 29, it will be available for purchase through the India e-store for Vivo, the online retailer Flipkart, and a few retail locations.


When utilizing ICICI and Axis bank cards to make purchases, Vivo is giving customers an immediate discount of Rs. 2,000. Additionally, it is offering an exchange incentive of up to Rs. 1,000.

Vivo T2 Pro 5G specifications

The Funtouch OS 13-based dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo T2 Pro 5G runs on Android 13. With a refresh rate of 120Hz, a pixel density of 388 ppi, and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, it has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display. The selfie camera is located in the center of the curved display’s notch. A 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 8GB of additional RAM powers the device. The device is touted as being the fastest smartphone in the under-Rs. 25,000 pricing range and is stated to have scored over 7,20,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform. For temperature control when gaming, the device has a 3000 mm square vapour chamber liquid cooling system.

The Vivo T2 Pro 5G has a dual rear camera combination with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.79 lens, as well as a 2-megapixel bokeh camera for pictures and videos. It sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture up front. In addition to conventional shooting modes, the camera system enables night mode, panorama, time-lapse video, dual view, portrait, and slow motion. Additionally, it has 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.


The Vivo T2 Pro 5G has 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, and USB 2.0 as connectivity options. The inbuilt sensors include a gyroscope, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and accelerometer. For authentication, there is also an in-display fingerprint scanner.

A 4,600mAh battery that supports 66W rapid charging powers the Vivo T2 Pro 5G. According to claims, this in-house quick charging technology can charge the battery from empty to 50% in just 22 minutes. The battery’s claimed capacity is 56.85 hours of music playback time after a single charge. It weighs about 176 grams and has dimensions of 164.10×74.80×7.36mm.
