Lava AGNI 2 5G: LAVA Mobiles is working to bring the latest iteration of the ‘AGNI’ series phone – the AGNI 2 5G to India with a curved display soon, as per reports. With the move, the first MediaTek Dimensity 7050-powered phone could democratise curved screens under Rs 20,000.

Lava AGNI 2 5G mobile specifications

Lava AGNI 2 is tipped to come with a curved AMOLED display. The report further tips it may have a “double-reinforced premium glass” design.

Under the hood, the AGNI 2 would be the first handset in India to sport a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. Speaking of memory, the AGNI 2 will likely have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Coming to the software, it may run Android 13. As for optics, it could pack a quad camera setup with a 50MP primary lens. In the images shared by the tipster, the back panel of the phone is visible with a circular dual camera design and a flash in a green shade.

For security, the AGNI 2 could have an in-display fingerprint reader.

Lava AGNI 2 5G price and launch date

The Lava mobile will likely be priced at Rs 19,999, as per a screenshot shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav. Moreover, as per an exclusive report by India Today, the AGNI 2 could release around somewhere in the mid of May.

More details about the new processor

Coming to the new chipset, the 64-bit octa-core processor supports Mali-G68 GPU. The 5G chip supports up to 200MP primary cameras and an FHD+ 120Hz screen. For connectivity, it is compliant with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, according to the official website of MediaTek.

Curved display phone under Rs 30000

In India, currently, you will have to shell out a minimum of Rs 25,000 to buy a phone with a curved screen.

Realme 10 Pro Plus and Tecno Phantom X are among the cheapest options available to buyers in the smartphone market. The Phantom X is available at Rs 25,999 on Amazon India. On the other hand, the Realme 10 Pro+’s base variant sells for Rs 24,999 on Flipkart.

With the debut of the Lava AGNI 2, we might witness a curved screen under Rs 20,000.
