Amazon Echo Buds: Amazon has launched a range of Echo products which includes the company’s second pair of TWS earbuds–the Echo Buds along with the Pop speaker. The Echo Pop speaker is a new addition to Amazon’s wide range of products. The company has launched speakers before but the Pop’s design is a departure from Amazon‘s round and puck shaped Echo speakers, the Pop features a half circle design. Other than the Buds and the Pop, Amazon has also unveiled the new generation Echo Show and the Echo Show Kids.

The latest Echo devices come in compact sizes and deliver even greater worth, providing customers with an expanded range of options for interacting with Alexa. The global sales of Alexa-enabled devices have surpassed half a billion, and customers are utilizing Alexa more extensively than ever before. In 2022, there was a notable surge in engagement with Alexa, with a growth of over 35 per cent.

Echo Pop

Echo Pop comes with a brand new form factor that offers a front-facing speaker and access to Alexa, all for just Rs 3296. Its small and convenient design makes it a perfect fit for a dorm room, apartment, or if you simply want to have Alexa in more rooms of your home. Just ask Alexa to play music, control smart home devices, answer questions, or tell jokes. Echo Pop is available in the familiar Charcoal and Glacier White colors, as well as two new options—Lavender Bloom and Midnight Teal.

Rajesh Parthasarathy, a principal product manager on the Echo Pop team, shared that it was a significant challenge to create a powerful smart speaker at such an affordable price. The team designed a unique shape and added new colors, anticipating that customers will love it.

Despite its small size, Echo Pop offers even more value. It also supports eero Built-in, allowing it to extend your existing eero Wi-Fi network coverage by up to 1,000 square feet

Echo Show 5 and Echo Show kids 

Amazon has introduced the next-generation Echo Show 5 and Echo Show 5 Kids with a stylish new appearance. The company has completely redesigned the speaker system to provide better bass and clearer sound compared to the previous model, making it perfect for enjoying music, audiobooks, videos, or podcasts. Both the Echo Show 5 and Echo Show 5 Kids have the AZ2 Neural Edge processor and an improved microphone setup.

Christina Cao, a senior product manager at Amazon, mentioned that they conducted extensive customer research and discovered that sound quality is crucial for this type of device. They listened to customer feedback and created the best-sounding and fastest Echo Show 5 based on that input.

Designed specifically for kids, the new Echo Show 5 Kids includes all the hardware improvements mentioned earlier. It features a fantastic space-themed galaxy design and offers kid-friendly responses from Alexa, funny jokes, homework help, and a filter for explicit lyrics. Kids can have fun dance parties, listen to audiobooks, play games, or make video calls to contacts approved by their parents. They can also co-create visual stories using the Create with Alexa feature, which now includes two new themes: Dinosaurs and Jazzy Jungle.

According to Anuj Dron, a senior product manager on Amazon’s Echo team, these new Amazon Echo Buds offer great sound quality, long battery life, and impressive features at a surprisingly low price. They give you easy access to audio content and Alexa no matter where you are.

The Amazon Echo Buds have high-quality sound and a lightweight design that allows you to stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music or talking on the phone. They are resistant to sweat and have a battery that lasts up to five hours for music playback on a single charge. With a fully charged case, you can get up to 20 hours of total music playback, and a quick 15-minute charge will give you two hours of use.

One useful feature of the Echo Buds is the ability to connect them to two devices at the same time. They will automatically switch between devices depending on which one is playing audio. This means you can make a video call on your laptop and seamlessly switch to listening to music on your phone without any interruption. You can also customize the tap controls on the Echo Buds using the Alexa app. For example, you can set up a long press or double tap to perform actions like playing music, answering calls, muting the microphones, and more.
