On Wednesday, the Google Pixel Watch 2 was made available worldwide. Along with the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, it was introduced. The tech juggernaut with its Mountain View headquarters has also released its smartwatch on the Indian market. It includes a number of enhancements over the features of the Pixel Watch model that came before it, which debuted in October 2022. The recently launched smart wearable, which runs on a Qualcomm 5100 SoC, is expected to start selling in the nation the following week.

The Pixel Watch 2 costs Rs. 39,900 in India for the LTE version and is available with a variety of band selections and aluminum casings in polished silver, matte black, and champagne gold. Google Pixel Watch 2 specifications

The Pixel Watch 2 features a 3D curved always-on display, bespoke Corning Gorilla Glass 5, a 320ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness level of 1000 nits. A Qualcomm 5100 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage powers the smartwatch. The watch comes pre-installed with Wear OS 4.0.

Multiple sensors, including a compass, an altimeter, a 3-axis accelerometer, a gyroscope, an ambient light sensor, a barometer, and a magnetometer, are included in the Pixel Watch 2. Similar to the majority of other fitness tracking gadgets, this watch has a skin temperature sensor, an electrical sensor to measure skin conductance (cEDA) for body reaction tracking, an oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor, an ECG monitor, and a multi-path optical heart rate sensor.

The Pixel Watch 2 offers the user information on their health and physical activity in addition to 40 sports modes. This information includes a daily readiness score, a sleep score, a chart of active zone minutes, and a sleep profile.

The 306mAh battery within the Pixel Watch 2 is said to provide up to 24 hours of battery life with an always-on display. The new Pixel Watch 2 does away with wireless charging in favor of contact pins, in contrast to the first Pixel Watch, which arrived with support for it.
