Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Series

Samsung announced its Galaxy Book4 series laptops in December 2023. While the company said that these AI-powered portable machines will be available for users in Korea in January 2024, it seems these machines are now heading towards India. According to IANS, the company will likely launch the successors of the Galaxy Book3 series for buyers in India this month.

The pre-bookings of the models may begin by the mid of this month and the laptops could go on sale in the last week. For the unaware, the lineup will likely include the Galaxy Book4 Ultra, Book4 Pro and Book4 Pro 360. Apart from the Book4 Ultra, the rest of the models may go on sale this month itself.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series Specifications

According to Samsung’s December press note, the new laptops ship with an intelligent chip, a better display and a robust security system. This series offers up to Intel Core Ultra 9 (on Book4 Ultra) and Core Ultra 7 (on ‘Pro’ trims) CPU and a new Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and is a part of the “Intel’s industry-first AI PC Acceleration program”. The ‘Ultra’ will offer up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop 8GB GDDR6 GPU.

Ultra models having the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU for creating images via prompts using the RTX-optimised Stable Diffusion. These devices ship with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen with up to 400nits brightness and 120Hz VRR. For audio, these models offer AKG-tuned quad speakers with Dolby Atmos.

These machines run on Windows 11 Home. All models have a backlit keyboard. For connectivity, all models offer Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1 port, microSD slot and a headphone jack. The laptops will offer a 2MP FHD camera and dual mics with AI noise cancellation.
