OPPO Find X8 series early leak hints at chipset details

OPPO launched the Find X7 series in China back in January and is the brand’s latest and greatest flagship offering. It looks like the brand has started working on the successor, dubbed the Find X8. Now, initial leaks of the phones have surfaced online, courtesy of tipster Smart Pikachu. The details hint at what to expect. Check out the details.

OPPO Find X8 series key features tipped

• The OPPO Find X8 lineup could include two models: the Find X8 and Find X8 Ultra just like the predecessor.
• According to the leak, the standard model could come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and an optical fingerprint sensor. In comparison, the Find X7 ships with Dimensity 9300 chipset.

• The Dimensity 9400 is yet to be announced and is expected to bring performance and gaming improvements.
• On the other hand, the Find X8 Ultra might ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC and an ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor under the display.
• The Find X7 Ultra comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
• ItOPPO Find X8 looks like OPPO is continuing the MediaTek SoC fOPPO Find X8 or the vanilla X-series model and Qualcomm chipset for the Ultra version.

No other specifications of the flagships are revealed at the moment but the launch appears to be a long way to go and we should learn more soon. The OPPO Find X7 is limited to China at the moment and the company hasn’t mentioned anything about the global launch at the moment.
