Vivo Y200e 5G spotted on Google Play Console with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, design revealed

After being spotted on Geekbench and Bluetooth SIG certification, Vivo’s upcoming budget offering – the Vivo Y200e – has been spotted on the Google Play Console. The listing reveals some specifications of the device, besides giving us a first full look at the phone.

Vivo Y200e  5G Google Play Console listing

  • The Vivo Y200e 5G bears the model number V2327 on the Google Play Console.
  • The listing reveals the phone will come with 8GB RAM and Android 14.
  • The processor is listed as SM4450, which is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It is an octa-core CPU, with two performance cores and six efficient cores. The performance cores have a max clock speed of 2.2 GHz, while the efficiency cores can run up to 2 GHz. It is paired with the Qualcomm Adreno 613 GPU.

Vivo Y200e design

A render of the Vivo Y200e has also appeared on the Google Play Console, revealing the design for the first time. The phone has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout with a flat display and thick bezels. The edges are rounded and the back is textured, while the frame seems to be made of plastic. The camera module is towards the left on the rear, housing a triple camera setup. The module is similar to the Vivo Y200, but minus the Aura Light feature. There seems to be an inscription below the lenses. There is Vivo branding on the bottom left, and we see the power button and volume rocker on the right edge. The phone appears in a blue colour option, but there will be other options at launch.

  • Vivo Y200e comes as an offshoot of the Vivo Y200 5G.

Vivo Y200 5G launched in India back in October 2023 and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. Now, it looks like the brand is working on an offshoot, dubbed the Vivo Y200e 5G. The handset has now been spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, which suggests the launch in the country could be around the corner. The Vivo Y200e could sit slightly below the standard Y200 5G.

Vivo Y200e bags BIS certification

  • The Vivo Y200e BIS certification, as spotted by MySmartPrice, shows the model number V2336.
  • The listing doesn’t reveal any key specifications of the phone but it was recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG, Geekbench, and Google Play Console
  • The Google Play Console listing of the Vivo Y200e revealed some notable specifications.  However, this had the model number V2337 but confirmed the marketing name Vivo Y200e. The listing had a render of the phone, with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter. The volume rocker and power buttons are seen on the right edge in the render. On the back, we see triple camera sensors arranged vertically and an LED flash.
  • The Google Play Console listing suggested the phone will pack 8GB of RAM, Android 14 OS, and an FHD+ display with 1080X2400 pixels resolution. The Vivo Y200e will pack an Adreno 613 GPU, which means the chipset could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. With all these listings in place, the launch of the phone might be around the corner.
